Pinball in Clearwater
« on: August 25, 2011, 10:23:41 PM »
Does anybody remember a small mom/pop arcade a couple miles up or down from Sand Key?

Many years back I stumbled onto it while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant.  They had a pay-one price deal which was cool, but they also had a mix of some older stuff too.

I doubt it's still there, but if it is, my next trip out that way will be scheduled around just going there.

There was an all you can play arcade in St. Pete Beach that had clowns on the outside, the Treasure Island Fun Center on TI (now in Seminole), and a small arcade on the beach in Clearwater that was mostly vids and a few Data East pins. I don't remember an all you can play arcade in Clearwater though.

Years ago I went to that Pay One Price = All U can Play Arcade in St Pete Beach.

They had a Pole Position sitdown that was fun.

I'm talkin' 15 years ago.

I'm wondering if that might have been it... I know we drove up and down a bit, and that's not all that far.
Was it on the corner (or right near) of an intersection?

It was near the corner, next to a grocery store, across from Mermaids.
