Title: Last of my SNES classics
Post by: Shdwknt on November 29, 2017, 02:10:10 PM
I have 3 snes classics left, and offering them up here.

$120 going rate, I will mod them to add the NES classics dual mod if you want, and extra SNES games too if you want those.  about 100-150 extra games can be added along with the dual boot mod.

PM me.  Im located in Riverview, and work in Ybor so  we can meet up in either my home or work.

it's pretty easy, even the destroyer of pinball ( owlnonymous ) a village member was able to do it.

I ended up with another 2 from gamestop - one is shipping and the other is in hand.. anyone need a modded one? or even a non-mod?

Mods include NES dual boot and approximately 150 extra SNES games!

How difficult is it to change the games?

real easy.. but honestly out of 777 snes US released titles.. about 1/5th of them actually work on the system and out of those.. do you really NEED more than 150 games ;)

I just ordered the parts to do the Micro SD mod.. so I am going to start retrofitting mine and ones I do with micro sd cards and loading them up with all the games..

Might throw on a few of the other systems too .. like genesis and portal systems etc.

I was actually think more about the NES titles. IT's cool to have a ton of games on there, but I'd rather have the games I want to play.

The NES on snes is a pain in the neck.. however once I get the micro sd mod done.. it actually should be easier to add - though it will probably run them as an outside EMU and not the built in player like the dual system mod.. i need to look into the dual mod to see if they updated it to add more nes games.. though with the limit on the system size currently - it wouldnt really be worth it until the sd mod is done to expand the memory of the unit.

can't beat this :) and now that I took a look at it, he's not taking care of it. >:(

it's in my son's room, once I get space, I'm taking it back and hooking it up to this recycled 1984 TV set.

I just bought and fixed an old snes that someone let go on craigslist with a couple of games.. i wanted it to play that 30th anniversary SF that I got from iam8bit

I love the idea of having the old carts.. but at the same time the aftermarket prices are through the roof again so I will stick to modding the snes classic.
