Hey guys, new member here but on KLOV for a couple years (fizgig)

Manny Sosa is a thief, con artist and a liar.

I've tried to work this out with Manny for about 6 months and no luck.

I bought 32 monitors from him June 26, 2012
I paid him $3200 for the monitors and $200 for building materials to crate them for shipping. He insisted on wire transfer to his Chase Bank. I did some background check on him and found he was in coin-op for several years but i didn't dig deep enough to find out he wasn't to be trusted until later. I also learned he's using the CHASE BANK address as his home address. (I admit this was my mistake, i know better)

Dozens of text messages and phone calls later I tried over and over to have STI pick up the monitors at Mannys location but he wouldn't do it. Excuses ranged from going through divorce, truck problems, money problems, weather, extreme weather, climate change, and on and on.... ALL BS as i watched him list stuff on Ebay and Craigslist on a daily basis, pinball machines, juke boxes, arcades, repair services, etc.

He finally delivers 16 of the monitors September 1, 2012 to STI/North American Van Lines.
These were suppose to be used, burn-free vision pro monitors. 6 of the 16 had no burn, 10 had light burn.

Several more attempts to retrieve the remaining 16 monitors or a refund have been futile. My calls just go to voice mail now.
I haven't contacted the local authorities because i'm in CA but i will soon. Any Miami locals want to make a few bucks?

The address 8212 NW 201st Street is a RESIDENTIAL address.  My father used to live about a mile away from there.  Pulling it up on my Maps App on my iPhone and zooming in confirms it's a residential area.  Searching his name comes back with this address and head of household "Angela Sosa".  I bet that this is his actual home.

I would contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center and file a report:

Sorry to hear about the problems. Manny has come into the chat room once or twice but that was awhile ago. I don't really know him. Maybe somebody down south can try to contact him on your behalf?

I've had long distance deals go south before and it's very frustrating trying to get a resolution.

i might see him in february, and can try to coax him to take care of you and this issue, but no promises...i don't know him THAT well...i've helped him out, but he's 2 hours south of me.

the monitors are in a warehouse out west of your locations. to my knowledge, they were all pulled from cherry machines. none are burn free, though. you can see burn-in in the old eBay ads.
