The BIG one is back! The 5th Annual Point Monsters Championship at The Pinball Asylum is going to our best one yet, as we celebrate this special milestone of five years running!

This is our BIG 2-1/2 day event,  starting Friday, June 2nd at 7pm and going through Sunday, June 4th.

This is a sanctioned IFPA Event with several Tournaments running simultaneously:
1. The Main Tournament PRO with GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE Monster Trophies, and cash payouts.
2. The CLASSICS Tournament PRO, with EM's and SS machines, with cash payouts.
3. An Amateur Division MAIN Tournament-- played on a seperate bank of games from the PRO's-- for those who don't care about IFPA Points, but still wish to compete, with trophies.
4. An Amateur CLASSICS Tournament (no IFPA Points), with cash payouts.

In addition, we will have 50+ machines on FREEPLAY all weekend.

Both Main Tournaments are limited to 40 players each, and with our new BIG EXPANSION we hope to be a near SELL-OUT, so please register early.

For the CLASSICS Tournament you can PRE-PAY for a discount-- see info when you sign the waiver-- or just sign-up when you arrive.

Hours:
June 2, Friday 7:00pm-12:00am
June 3, Saturday at 9:30am-12:00am
June 4, Sunday at 10:00am-??

Main Tournament PRO is $50.
Main Tournament AMATEUR is $20.

I don't see the registration link here or on the Asylum page.

Thanks

Hey Jeff, try.

John B

[moderated: We don't publish the registration URL, as players and guests need to be registered and verified. If you previously attended an Asylum event then you should have an email with the link. If not please PM me and I'll get you taken care of. Thanks. Doghouse]

Can't wait for this one! Has the points for pin golf been posted yet? I can't find them on IFPA's page.

Not to derail the thread, but since more than one person has brought up the pingolf points, I'll chime in.

The TD only figures out the meaningful games played for the TGP and the places each player finished.  IFPA ultimately figures out the actual WPPR points per player.

The rules for figuring out the pingolf TGP are substantially different than most typical events TDs submit.

Well I've "registered" for this tournament but still haven't gotten any i fo on how to pay for the registration - should I have gotten an email about that?  Do I need to re-register?  I've sent emails and FB messages about it but I'm not getting any responses and I'm getting nervous that I won't be able to attend.

You should receive a PayPal request within a few days.  Nothing to worry about.

In terms of lodging, some of the Asylum members have a Hampton Inn a few miles away and provided a discounted rate for Asylum events of $79.  (239) 931-5300.

Just mention you are there for a Pinball Asylum event.
