Kiss to me was a Fantastic game, but could be one of they're greats with just a little bit more. I mean pick your city's but have it do nothing is a real slap in the face.

Ghostbusters freezing upon wizard mode is kind of a joke.

Got's wizard mode is kinda lack luster as well, doesn't seem like much thought went into that.

With all that in mind these games sold well, so what's the point of going any further?

Wof to me was a winner on pf design, wish they would take this from the dead and finish it. That being said I would own one just based on the way it plays right now.

Joe, feel free to come over if you want to play my WoF.  I agree with what was said.  It's a fun game even though it was not "finished".

I kind of wanted to see the video but my stupid old computer, well it just wasn't gonna load. Ill look around on utube, see if it got put on there.
this would be the "new" Stern STAR WARS game I believe yall said.
ALso , found it interesting that you folks talked about what games made by STERN were the "worst" such as didn't get updated programs. Some of you are people who have opinions I admire and trust, and then some I don't know but HEY that's ok. For someone like me that spends 90% of their time with EMs , this is good topic to hear discussed.
I wonder if a thread that was devoted to "BEST" and "WORST' Sterns would work . THat is people would just list why they felt the way they do. Hopefully it woud cover all the modern Sterns and people would not argue over shit.
Maybe one of you "SS AFECIONADOS " COUOD DO THAT, BUT THEN MAYBE YOU GUYS REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT the subject. sorry about the caps!
 anyway just my thoughts.

the great thing about pinball, is some games that people can't stand, is in another players TOP 10 must have list.

wheel of fortune is a designer's genius result. with lackluster code.

Tron is the top 1 or 2 sterns of the last 17 years. yet, it's has 2 distinctive flaws on the playfield that straight up just bother me, so much I passed even when I could have purchased a limited for under 5 grand.

the IPDB top 300? I like about 25 of those game titles. and of those, I might want to own 4...which I do. :P

whoa nellie is the #6 EM of all time. and that's pathetic, given all the true/real EMs out there.

I found the streaming on utube, it was pretty good.
whoa Nellie number 6? that is more then ridiculous. Every EM I have in my signature is better then that game and not by just a little. Whoa Nellie would be a sin to even be in the same room as Flipper Clown, North Star, Old Chicago, Super Straight to name a few. just ridiculous.
I guess you can just vote numerous times while your sitting around watching soap operas on tv? WHat about DIMENSION, Aztec? Lord the list goes on forever!

If we're basing this on funfactor, bang for the buck, art. Most ems are better all around in my opinion

I just made a list of what my "dream" collection would look like and more than half we're ems
wants- nice examples of:   WW, FT, Wof, CCc,  EBD, MB, STLE, CP,

current pins:

Mmr
Abra cadabra
Central Park
pinball (stern EM)
Jungle princess (EM)
Medusa

Agreed.  Currently enjoying EMs and early solid state games way more than modern pins.

Still looking forward to playing the new Star Wars pin though.

I learned my lesson on "dream theme pins" on Kiss.  Paid out the ass for an LE and watched Stern abandon the game on code.  I'm waiting this one out.

Dialed in, on the other hand, looks kick ass and I can't wait for mine to arrive.   :o

Charlie, I think the Pros are shipping now.

What are your thoughts on the gameplay? It seems like a great game for tournaments, I couldn't really make any conclusions on the fun of working through the modes. The reviews coming out of Pintastic are very good, for what that's worth.

Must admit games shipping without SD card with code is rather troubling.

Avengers(I am using 1.5 old code ,is better)/ X-men/ Kiss/ WOF/ and I hear of a bug in Star Trek / so more than just WOF  / kiss was a disappointment for me and others in this very forum no matter how good others say it is
to be positive, what's the only stern game they screwed up code for and never fixed in the last 17 years?

wheel of fortune. which is a kick azz game without good code. that is all. :)

in all humble questions, what does that mean? isn't the latest code always up on stern's site, and earlier good code on emuparadise? it does bother me they don't keep older code on stern's site, but at least, it is all stored somewhere online.

and an SD card should run about 5 bucks. i dont' own any newish sterns...they do SD cards instead of USB for updates now? :)
