A pinball can be stressful when broken, but its just like life, when it knocks you down, take a few steps back before trying to jump back up. You need to be patient. Don't let one little thing get you down, I've seen hundreds of these, and none are easy to work on. That's why there's the new LED replacements, much easier to replace than fix, and the displays don't gas out or get broken, use less power, and no longer need the high voltage.
As for the hobby, ok, so your not inclined to repair the games, not everyone can, or I'd be out of work. But there are many other things, like making mods, adding LED lights, cleaning and touchup, possibly repainting cabinets. I hate to paint, as I get too involved on a full restore, but now I try to quickly touch up ones that I can and move on without looking back. Surely your not letting go of WoZ???
