Daytona Warehouse "Raid" anyone?

Got a message on facebook from some guy trying to join the facebook group. Yes we have a facebook group.. somebody else created it.. no it's not active. I think like 3 people post on it for whatever reason. Facebook sucks.

Message was from an operator in Texas who has 2 Florida warehouses he wants to sell off. One warehouse is about 25 minutes east of Daytona. He'd like to do an open house on February 17th.

We all know operator warehouse sales can go 2 ways..

Sure take every game for $100 but you have to pick them up today!

or

OK this here Party Animal pin, it doesn't work and its got 3lbs of dirt on it.. but the internet tells me its worth $3500 so i'll take $3k cash.

I have no idea which way this will go. I asked about prices.. he said "One machine I do know a price for is a widebody circus pinball - price $600. Not working but powers up", i also asked how much a random 80s pin would be.. he said "If its a [collectible game] pinball I would ask maybe a little more than a thousand but if it not a [collectible game] I will ask way below a thousand"

Of course all this hinges on the definition of a collectible game.

Seems to be a lot of stuff from pics.. he said its vids, pins, jukes, dart machines, parts, etc. Basically everything you'd expect at an operator warehouse. The legs do look rusty on the pins in the one shot so these might be ex-boardwalk games.. which could mean lots more corrosion.

That's all the information I have. He didn't want to give an address yet (understandable.. i know some of you would be down there this afternoon). He is going to give me more information as the date approaches as I guess he's flying to Daytona to set this open house up.

Will it be good? is it worth a drive? I don't know. Daytona is far from me so I'm not sure i'd risk it but if you are within an hour it could be nice as who knows whats in this warehouse.

I'll update the thread when I have more information.

Waiiiiit a minute! Research indicates that the pictures are of Wayne's World of Home Amusements. The termite capital of Volusia county!

Where did you find pics to indicate this was from  waynes?

I don't think Wayne would have so many old pins but if the pic is bogus please let us know.

Picture is right from the Wayne's world website. He bought lots of games when the auctions were still huge and this is what's left over from his years in business.

It would be more interesting for parts-search and boards than games.  He's not letting those go for $500, those pins are going to be up there in price.  Maybe someone will get a slight deal.  But thanks for sharing Jack, its neat to see all the stuff in one place!

Thanks for the catch guys.. I don't think I've ever been to Wayne's website lol.

Still, might be some OK deals.

Update I spoke to the seller.. I don't really want to go into details as he asked for privacy so just check the initial posting, that's where it's at. I think there could be some great deals especially on parts but I wouldn't expect anything to be 'fire sale' prices. If you are within a reasonable drive probably worth checking out.. but if its a significant distance you might want to have other folks check for you.
