True, but anything would be. I assume. Never saw that version, never plan to, happy to shit on it anyway.

It would be cool if they went full-on comedy with this. I assume it's set in present day, so helicopter parents, parents who are outraged when their kid gets punched or kicked, who complain when their kid doesn't have a black belt and a trophy by day 2, etc.

Have Johnny just be an over-the-top villain determined to raise a whole new generation of bullies.

Kids sparring while still trying to use their phones at the same time.

There's a lot to work with if they go that route.

Not sure what the premise is but I think they are not the ones physically fighting.  I think Cobra dojo is reopened by the student and they have shenanigans abound.
