There's one on ebay already :p

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Arcade1Up-Rampage-by-Arcade1UP/202408273173?hash=item2f20792515:g:GpIAAOSwPrlbeaNB

so order on walmart, sell on eBay, pay $40.00 for fees. genius. unless....he found a loop to get them at 299 with 20% coupons...still not worth it to deal with eBay people.

it's biggames all over again, on basically their 10th anniversary. i guess decent emulation, but that 17 inch LCD looks washed out. and that review was washed out, too.

if that LCD gets lines or goes out...you're basically screwed.

Heh, looks like recroommasters got into the game with a jamma ready 3/4 size machine for about the same money.  I built a virtual pinball with their cabinet kit, and it was solid

https://www.recroommasters.com/19-Xtension-Alpha-Cade-Arcade-Cabinet-JAMMA-p/rm-xt-alpha-jamma.htm

That definitely looks like a better way to go IMO.  19" LCD monitors are readily available for cheap or free and the Happ sticks used are most likely an upgrade on the thin shaft/balltop sticks that arcade1up is offering.  That's one thing that stood out to me right right away regarding the review of arcade1up's SF unit...if you're going to offer a nicely built custom Street Fighter arcade why wouldn't you use some sort of bat stick?

Its still overpriced for an empty cab with no monitor, power supply or PCB at $330 plus shipping.  a "board ready" one for $250 would make it more competitive.

Yup.  3/4 is very misleading in my opinion.  More like half size at best.

Look here:

Yeah they might be 3/4ths the size of a Cabaret.. maybe.

Also I saw that video too, I agree.. not sure who these are for.

$400 is a lot of scratch for a casual impulse buy.
Collectors will want something legit especially for same price as full sized machine.

Wow, I swear each new image I see of these things they get smaller and smaller.  They should market them as table top/counter units since that's clearly what they are.  I'm looking forward to giving these a try, but unless I can snag one for a hundred bucks on clearance I don't see one in my future...

So who's gonna bring one to FreePlay this fall :P ;D?

i'd "date" her. ;D  stupid arcade in the picture. what's up with that

Well she choose the best team for PoGo (Instinct baby!) so she's definitely a keeper :P  ^_^

I actually just cancelled my pre-order that I have had since day one with Walmart. They moved the delivery date to sometime next month and there was really no advantage to buying early. I guess as the wait was more and more I just figured I didnt need it. I am glad I was not an early WOZ buyer or there would have been no way I would have stuck it out.

You had the Rampage one on preorder? I saw more videos of the control panel design, and it looks pretty strange how they lined up the joysticks but I'd still like to see it in person.
