That was a great game, no doubt about it. Enough can't be said about how ballsy a call that onside kick was...totally caught them sleeping. The 2-pt conversion is debatable. Technically he did have possession and the ball crossed the plane with the hip being down. If it was a regular catch anywhere else on the field or there was no instant replay, it probably would have been incomplete and I wouldn't have argued.
There is some debate as to if The Who show was lipsynced/piped in. I think that there may have been assistance and a little overplaying of the windmill effect three feet away from the strings...but who cares. It was still enjoyable, and at least it wasn't ALL like that. And I couldn't get over how fricken cool that stage was. I thought that was pretty far out.
Don't know if there's any wooters out there...but they had a funny item description that's related to this:
http://www.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=11463If I had any business dealings with the greater New Orleans/Gulf Coast area I wouldn't expect on getting much done as the party has already fired up for Mardi Gras next Tuesday.
I wanted to mention...if anybody is interested in going to a Predators game here in CFL by the way, I'm starting to get things in order for a group/tailgate party in April.
