I'm building a vector mame and would like to find a computer with an ISA slot.  It's just much easier getting sound to work in DOS with ISA vs. PCI.  If anybody has one collecting dust someplace let me know.

I probably have a Pentium II mainboard/cpu sitting in a box somewhere if that would work.

I also have a few complete Pentium systems if i'm not mistaken.

Let me know if you still need one, I believe I have at least 1 or 2 around here ready to go in the tower.

Yes, I'm still looking.  Anything Pentium or newer with an ISA slot will work for what I need.  I got tired of my Tempest having to always be repaired so I got the vector mame board from Zektor.  Hopefully now I can turn the game on and leave it running without worrying quite as much.

The problem is it only uses DOS mame.  I tried to get it working with a PCI soundblaster but couldn't get it to work.  So I borrowed a computer with an ISA slot and it started up with the default install.  So, for the sake of time and my sanity I figure it's just easier to go that route.

Anyways, let me know a price for the MB or computer.

Link to what I got - too bad they are not making them anymore:  www.zektor.com/zvg/vectormame.htm
